Written at 15 and recorded live, originally intended as a b side. I was 15 and trying to write a nirvana song with streetlight manifesto lyrics. This song sucks.

I only mind the sun when I'm awake,
I've had just a little bit more than I can take,
talking heads float around telling what to think,
mind numbing white noise leaves you on the brink

Chorus:
Wheels keep on spinning 'round, nobodies trying to move along,
deals keep on pinning down, people justifying to not be wrong,
liars keep on churning ground, everybody's lying to get along,
fires keep on burning down, people keep dying but life goes on.

Then one day you break.
Yeah one day you break, but it was too late and you still crash,
and after you stumble out disoriented everyone just stands and stares at your open gash,
and all you can think is "what the fuck, man?" as you fall right on your face,
and after the red flashing light comes to take you away everyone just moves on with their day,

Look up from the television,
see what's shown by the sun,
embrace the fleeting lucidity before it's gone,
and run, run, run, run,
you better run.

It's nauseating, the way we choose to love our lives,
we all these meaningless rituals that take up all our time,
religiously ignoring maladies while life goes on,
yeah life just keeps on going on 'til one day it's gone.
